Red Work

Last week before the mac disaster (which thankfully seems to be resolved now) I completed some embroidery designs. They have been worked on in a style called redwork which is an outline stitch. I think the characters look really striking like this and I'm pleased with how the whole set have turned out. Pretty cute, but not too corny! All 9 characters can be seen at Bunnycup Embroidery. I was just really pleased with the results and wanted to share it!

What a cute bunch of little girlies! Is this a photo of actual the needlework, or a digital drawing? Either way, they're very sweet.

Hey Cindy!
These are photographs of the actual stitch work , but with an added digital dropshadow to make them stand out from the white background (i believe so anyway!)
Thanks for your lovely comment!

Really neat stuff. It reminds me of "Precious Moments," a Hallmark collection I used to frequently buy for my mom. How nostalgic!
