A little girl hiding in the woods, then a bunny with waistcoat, spectacles and cane spots her. Only thing missing is a pocket watch huh? And possibly a tea party? I'm still trying out new digital painterly techniques. I had a good go with the woodland background, but I've neglected the focus of the painting which is suppose to be the girl, she needs way more detail. Oh well, must try harder next time...

I think it is beautiful!
Lovely!
Beautiful!
This sure has a magical feel to it! I also like your little badger and ferret, I wouldn't have guessed it was made in photoshop.
This is beautifully done!
Actually, she looks good as she is. More detail? Maybe. But I sort of like the mix of textures you use. There is a lot of texture going on around her, and then she is smoother, and it is a nice contrast, actually. I really like this illustration!
u can always go back and give her more detail
but its still a charming illo
Cool illo....I really like the trees, and the mood of the whole forest in general. Also the badger and ferret are very cool.
The forrest is beautifully rendered and colored. Composition of the whole is nice too, what with the scene split down the center by the tree, girl on one half, bunny on other. Nice halo of light around bunny. Girl details could always be added later. You got talent, Madamebogg.
beautifully done!
I agree with the others, you don't need more detail. This has great color and texture and the stance on the girl is nice. I used to hide in the woods all the time. Although no bunnies ever talked to me. I would just comment that her eyes are just a bit too wideset...verging on appearing odd.
I love this! You did a great job on the woodlands. I don't think you need to try harder on the detail at all!
Its lovely the way it is!
Sweet illo!
