Cute Bears: A Step By Step

Here's a step by step on how I work up my cute characters for Doodle Press.

This week I have been working on some 'Thank You Teacher' designs using the owl and tortoise characters from our super cute Happy Hollow range.

Illustration Friday: POPULARITY

The bear mayor was re-elected due to overwhelming popularity. His policy on keeping honey tax low and increasing spending on the picnic basket budget was very popular with the voters.
This was a quick illustration I did specifically for illustration friday in photoshop.

Illustration Friday: FORWARD

This is a sketch I eventually worked up into a birthday card a few weeks ago for work. It's a centre-forward soccer bear being whistled at by the mouse referee. Not sure why he's been yellow carded! Most of the work I do during the day are cute characters and I love my job so much! At the moment I'm working on cute Christmas designs.

Bear Embroidery

This is my second attempt at some hand-stitched embroidery. I've used some little blue beads to embellish parts of the bear. I used the colonial knot to make the eyes and I think they have come out too big, so will have to use a smaller knot in future.
