This guy was so much fun to sew! I really need to invest in some small black child safety eyes for toys though... It's not great gluing felt eyes on these critters. Not only is it fiddly, it's not safe for kids. His furry mane and tail is pretty but fly-away too. When I cut the trim there were feathers flying all over the flat.

Very cute! Good horse belly. ;-) I like to buy my plush eyes from bearycheap.com, because they also save Moon Bears, and that makes me feel good.

Brian Marki Fine Art located in Portland Oregon is presently hosting an open call for artists to present for the month of December. The goal of this show is to host affordable work for the holiday gift giving season, and we'll be turning the gallery into a salon styled playground of fun and inexpensive art. We're looking to show custom toy design, graffiti inspired art, paintings, prints, sculpture, t-shirts and clothing, etc. The basic things that we're looking for in the submissions are a playful quality, and a wholesale pricing that falls below $250. Submission deadline is October 31st, and selected art must be in hand by November 16th.
